Alene who is a native Floridian, moved to Franklin by way of Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 1994. She and her husband Hil, were looking for a small town in the mountains to call home. They fell in love with Franklin and have been here ever since.

In 1996 she and Hil joined forces with three other Real Estate Brokers and opened Preferred Properties of Franklin. Alene says Real Estate sales have enabled her to meet some of the nicest people. She loves helping families to relocate or find their special vacation home in the mountains.

In her spare time, Alene plays tennis and visits with her new grandson. Her son and his wife and her daughter live nearby in Georgia.

Hil enjoys gardening, hiking, hunting and the abundant wildlife in Western Carolina! Upon entering the Real Estate profession he has specialized in land sales. He enjoys walking the property, becoming familiar with its boundaries and all the features it has to offer! He has found living in the mountains, along with the friendliness of the people in a small community, is hard to beat!

After vacationing in Franklin for several years, Larry and his family decided to call Franklin home in 1992. Larry has been active in the financial industry in Illinois, Florida and North Carolina for over 28 years. He has been applying that experience to the real estate field since 2001.

Larry is married to Alicia and they have one daughter (Mary). He enjoys fishing, golf, racquetball, and living in the mountains.

Jerry and Sally Mass moved permanently to Franklin in 1996 after raising their family in South Florida. They first discovered our beautiful area on their honeymoon in 1975 and afterward visited regularly for family vacations. They bring a vast variety of work experiences having always been closely involved with people – Sally as a teacher and Jerry in the medical and technical fields. They have found that their strengths compliment one another and enable them to work together as a dynamic team for the benefit of their clients.

Sally and Jerry consider ethics and honesty, together with premier service, to be paramount in their real estate business. In their words, “It is all about discovering what the client wants and needs.”

In their spare time, Jerry and Sally enjoy dog training and are equine sports enthusiasts. That means they are capable of finding you a pet friendly home, and also excel as your only local “Equine (horse) Connection.”
